Lincoln Riley GH Counter
In Lincoln Riley's offense, GH Counter replaces the pulling tackle with an off-ball H-back (sniffer). The backside guard kicks out the edge while the sniffer wraps tightly through the C-gap crease to lead on the second-level linebacker.

The call

| Left guard | pull flat across the line and kick out the frontside edge defender. |
| H | wrap tightly behind LG, insert through the C-gap crease, and block the Mike linebacker. |
| Left tackle | hinge and seal the backside edge. |
| Center | block back on the backside 1-technique defensive tackle. |
| Right guard | block down on the playside 3-technique defensive tackle. |
| Right tackle | down block and wash the interior defender inside. |
| R | take counter jab step, follow H's wrap through the C-gap, and burst downhill. |
| Q | open to the back, execute the mesh, and bootleg to hold the backside edge. |
| X | stalk block the boundary cornerback. |
| Y | stalk block the nickel overhang defender. |
| Z | stalk block the playside cornerback. |
