Air Raid Mesh

Air Raid Mesh crosses Y and H close enough to brush shoulder pads, with Y setting the depth and H always passing underneath. Z's out and the back's shoot create the first high-low while the crossers run against man or settle against zone.

Mesh: Air Raid mesh from 2x2. The Y sets the crossing point at six yards and the H goes under him, never over. Against zone both settle in the first open grass; against man they keep running and the traffic does the work.

The call

PositionResponsibility
QBpre-snap, read the defensive backs and pick a side. Less than seven yards off the man, throw deep. More than seven, throw short.
Yset the mesh. Across at no deeper than six yards, and hold that depth so the other crosser has something to measure against. Against zone, settle in the first open grass and show your numbers. Against man, keep running.
Hgo under the Y, close enough that shoulder pads brush. Never over the top, which is the one rule of the concept, because going over turns the rub into two receivers in the same window.
Zsix-step out, breaking at about six yards. First read.
Fshoot to the same flat, underneath the out. That side is a high-low, and this is the second read.
Xbackside hitch. Distribution on the backside varies by staff more than any other part of this concept.
