Jet sweep

The jet sweep hands the ball to a man already moving at full speed, forcing the defense to fit the edge immediately. This Wing-T version uses gap-down-backer rules on the backside and pin-and-pull rules to clear the edge in front of the ball.

Jet sweep: Wing-T jet sweep. The wing motions across and takes the ball at full speed, so the play runs away from the side he lined up on. The playside tackle pins the man inside him and the guard pulls around him to clear the edge, while the halfback leads and the backside blocks gap, down, backer.
